August 21st Picnic in Swope Park

We welcome everyone to the annual picnic, set for August 21st. This year's picnic/BBQ will be at Swope Park in the band pavilion off of E Meyer Blvd (see map) at 5:30 PM. We'll be serving up pulled pork sandwiches and members are asked to bring a side dish.*** As usual, we will have beer & wine available plus soft drinks and water.

Our guest speaker will be former Parks Director, Mark McHenry. The topic will be the 'past, present and future of Swope Park'. Members and guests: please register in advance on the UCG webpage. RSVPs are extremely important so thank you in advance! This is a rain or shine event. Guest fee is $20.00 per guest.

*** Since the picnic will be a pot luck style event, please let us know what guests or members attending will bring to share with everybody (by replying back to our email blast). Sponsorships are also available. We look forward to seeing all of you at the picnic in the park!
