Join us as we revisit a piece of Kansas City history with a modern twist! Years ago, the Urban Core Group celebrated at the iconic Federal Reserve at 909 Walnut. Now, Exact Architects is bringing new life to this historic area by transforming the 929 Walnut building, acquired in early 2024, into vibrant urban residences. This office-to-residential conversion reflects the growing demand for downtown living, offering a sustainable, quicker, and more cost-effective way to create density in the heart of our city.
Connected to the 909 Walnut building by the 8th floor, the 929 Walnut project will feature a unique nature area—a perfect green space for both residents and their four-legged friends. This project not only honors the past but also embraces the future, fostering a thriving community in the urban core. Don't miss out on being part of Kansas City's next chapter!
It will be like another outdoor and indoor picnic in the heart of the Financial District.
Parking is on the street on Walnut or surrounding areas. Guests will enter the northeast side door entrance of 929 where Urban Core sign will be located - someone will be there to let you in between 5pm - 5:45pm.
There should be someone there throughout the early part of the evening for allowing members and guests in so please be there no later than 5:45pm as the program will start promptly at 6pm.
Yes, there will be a bike powered margarita dispenser - looks like fun. :)
